The attack happened on April 5 at around 2:30 a.m. in the 300-block of Main Street, San Francisco. The SFPD received a report about a stabbing and immediately responded to the scene. Lee, a 43-year-old male, was found with apparent stab wounds, and despite the officers’ and medical personnel’s best efforts, he passed away due to his injuries.

Police have not yet revealed any details about the possible motive behind the attack or any suspects. However, the SFPD Homicide Detail is handling the ongoing investigation. San Francisco has been grappling with a surge in violent crime, prompting the City Council to approve a police contract with a 20 percent pay raise.
