An FIR has been lodged against a private firm for playing a p*rnographic video on the railway announcement TV screens on crowded platforms of Patna Junction on Monday morning. This incident left hundreds of passengers, including women, waiting to board trains or receive their relatives, shocked and embarrassed.

Obscene Clip Displayed on TV Screens for 3 Minutes

The obscene clip was on display for about three minutes until several passengers complained about it. Danapur RPF senior commandant Prakash Kumar Panda immediately swung into action and lodged an FIR against the agency under various RPF Acts with the Patna RPF post on Sunday.

Kolkata-based Agency Contract Cancelled

A Kolkata-based agency was given a contract to make regular announcements on the TV screens about the arrival and departure of passenger trains at the junction. However, Railways has cancelled the contract of the agency and summoned the officials to Patna RPF post for further investigation into the matter.

Operator Fled the Scene

The operator at the Patna junction fled soon after the shameful incident. However, RPF men are on the lookout for the operator. If he fails to turn up before the RPF team, railway security forces would seek an arrest warrant against him and other people of the agency involved in such a mischievous act.

Railways Takes Immediate Action

According to Patna RPF inspector, Sushil Kumar, the incident took place when the Danapur DRM Prabhat Kumar was entering the junction for inspection purposes. An RPF man informed them about the display of the p*rn clip on the TV screens. Danapur DRM immediately ordered an inquiry and asked the officials concerned to terminate the agency contract with the Railways.

Investigation Underway

Patna RPF post has started investigating the matter thoroughly and has a video clip as evidence of the incident.
